Spain Digital 2025, How can my company access aid for digitalization?
RPA technology is leading the digital transformation processes.
In all the media we can hear daily references to European funds for economic reconstruction after the pandemic and, however, it is very easy to feel that we are in a forest of programs and aid about which we are not very clear about what each one is for, which one best suits my company and what I have to do to access this aid.
Digital Spain 2025 includes almost 50 measures grouped into 10 strategic axes with which it is intended to promote the digital transformation of the entire country, and in which public and private organizations will collaborate together with all economic, business and social agents.
The 10 strategic axes reach all economic sectors in one way or another, although they will have more intensity in those that are strategic for the country's economy.
Therefore, any company, regardless of its size, has the opportunity to access aid or financing that allows them to address a digital transformation process, implementing new technologies, updating the digital skills of their work team and preparing their infrastructure and organization to be more efficient and improve their competitiveness.
Now, How do I know which of the aids launched are appropriate for my company and what should I prepare to be able to obtain them?
The answer to this question can be twofold.
If in my company I have a technological surveillance system focused on keeping myself systematically updated on the technologies and solutions that may be interesting for my activity, as well as the financing and investment support instruments, I will possibly have internally all the knowledge to be able to access this aid, only needing the collaboration of suppliers that provide specific knowledge or projects linked to any of those technologies.
But in most companies, especially SMEs, this technological surveillance system is not systematically available, so it will be necessary to resort to external specialized knowledge. This specialized knowledge will have to know in detail the different aid programs to know how to discern which one best suits my company and, additionally, have technological knowledge that allows the construction of a valuable project that can be well valued by the organization that evaluates the proposals and decides on granting aid.
